Harker Heights
Our newest center is our Harker Heights Head Start serving ages 0-5 at 120 Harley Drive. There are four age groups that we serve in this building: infants, wobblers, toddlers and Pre-K. The center also houses a commercial kitchen because we serve meals family style in the classrooms. We thank the City of Harker Heights for donating the use of the land for our facility.
The Director/FCA (Family & Community Advocate) is Nilda Plaza-Robinson. Nilda has 20+ years' experience with 4C Head Start services and has her Master of Science in Education Degree with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. Way to go Nilda!

Killeen
Avenue C Head Start
Avenue C Head Start is our largest and newest Killeen Head Start center. We serve ages 0-5 at 500 West Avenue C and we also enroll eligible pregnant moms. The staff is onsite from 8:00AM to 4:00pm and children arrive at 8:15AM and leave at 3:15pm, Monday through Friday. Children ages 3-5 (Head Start Pre-K) follow the KISD calendar and are out during the summer. Infants, wobblers and toddlers attend the full year except for two weeks in the summer for our agency pre-service training.

I want to give kudos to my son’s teachers: Ms. Marilyn and Ms. Adams. They are excellent teachers and Trevion has learned a lot (letter recognition, patterns, hand writing,numbers, colors, etc.) being in their classroom. My son is more than ready for Pre-K and their good work has not gone unnoticed. Marlboro Heights Head Start serves children 0-5 years old. The 3-5 year old children attend a center-based Head Start program during the school year and our children 0-3 receive full-year Center Based or In-Home Early Head Start services through this location. Avenue J Head Start
AVENUE J HEAD START! We are excited about continuing our Head Start center with our partner in Temple. A New Day Fellowship Church is giving us space in their facility at 510 East Avenue J. There are three classrooms serving children ages 0-3 through our Head Start program services. We are already licensed and serving children with a few enrollment slots still available. Thanks go out to Pastor Beamon and his staff and Board of Directors for giving us the opportunity to serve East Temple's children and families! Staff on site from 8:00 to 4:00. Dickson Head Start
Dickson Head Start is a collaborative program with Temple ISD on the Dickson campus. The program serves Pre-K children ages 3-5 for the regular school year and children ages 0-3 full year except 2 weeks in August when we close for teacher Pre-Service training. Pregnant mothers are also encouraged to apply. Our schedule is the same as Temple ISD during the school year. Staff on site from 8:00 to 4:00. Children are in care from 8:15 to 3:15, 7 hours a day.
